Feel Good Stay in Santa Teresa - Rio

Wow,very nice place to stay! Near to the cool place Lappa and the beach Copacabana or Ipanema are close and easy to find. Andre is very helpful and nice! It was a cool trip for us and it was not the last brasilian vacation :-)

Andre and his girlfriend were nice, friendly and helpful and the place is really comfortable, clean and secure. The amazing warm-water equipment in the big bathroom I liked a lot,specially because of the cold and rainy weather that we had..really recommendable! The only thing I remind that maybe could become increased is the tools/equipment of the kitchen, in case if you like to really cook. Anyway a good place in one of the nicest regions of Rio..!

Loved my stay at this place. We stayed here during carnaval and it felt like home. A beautiful house, nice atmosphere and I liked Santa Teresa. For my next stay in Rio, i'll definitely stay here again.

During new years eve 2012/2013 me, my boyfriend and a friend stayed at the house of André. The house is very very nice and is wel located. The metrostation Gloria is about 10 min walking which is great because the metro takes you to copacabana and ipanema. André is a great guy and helped alot with showing us around and advising us about how and where to go. Thanks to him we also visited a nice hostel farm in Petropolis which was super cool. I would surely advise people to stay with him for a relaxing and nice stay in Rio. Staying there makes you feel you like you have a home in Rio instead of a hotel or hostel. It was great!

This place is absolutely recommendable ! The location is perfect for making daily trips to the beach, the different areas of Rio, The christ statue, the sugar louf, etc. Metro is just a quick walk away. Small supermarkets everywhere. Don't hesitate - book! :-)

One cannot experience another country without experiencing its people, and i luckily had the chance to stay at this wonderful place and meet André (and Sarah, and....). He is such a kind-hearted, helpful, witty and endearing person (certainly I have forgotten to enumerate some adjectives ;)), and i really felt at home. Don't wanna miss a single thing that we've done, and i'm glad that we're friends now. Muito obrigado por tudo. Adorei! I'll be back as soon as possible...until then: Have fun. Abraços \°/

I had an amazing stay in this wonderful house in Rio. Thanks to the great advices of Andrea we really enjoyed the city. He knows the good place to visit Moreover he can do the best caipi I have tasted in Brazil! Do not hesitate to stay there, the area is very safe and quiet It is close to the metro buses station and it is possible to walk to Lapa... like us you will feel at home and you will want to stay longer

This was a nice, open house with a welcoming feel. Clean, on the whole friendly, and the house manager Andre was always helpful if I had questions. I would recommend this to anyone looking to stay in Rio on a budget.
