Great Room Near the Beach in Rio!

We had a great time in Rio! Sylvia and Francesco were very helpful with lots of nice suggestions foor restaurants closeby and with finding our way around in Rio. Also the location of the appartment is excellent with only two blocks from the beach, close to many busstops and the metrostation. In conslusion, we had a great time!

A nice, spatial and comfortable room on a perfect location. I am a woman who travels allone and felt very safe in this neighboorhoud. Also I felt very at home at Sylvia and Francesco's appartment. They are very kind, open and warm people, who helps you with allot of things. Thank you for the great time I had in Rio!

The room was great. it was big enough for two people and had a private bathroom and also a private entrence so you diden´t fell like you were intruding or disturbing when you came home late. the host and hostes were very kind and helpfull and helped you to enjoy your stay by recomending resturants and activities. the Neigbourhood is very nice and really close to ipanema beach and not so far from copacobana and also very close to the metro. It´s also very safe neighbourhood and you could walk around at night without beeing afraid of roberies. overall we had a great stay in rio and would really recomend this room and theese hosteses

I was on a business trip in Rio and Sylvia's room really comes close to a simple hotel room. Important for me was the great WiFi connection and that I could come and go without disturbing anyone. The room provides a lot of privacy, good conditions for working!

Owners (Francesco and Sylvia) are very welcoming and advised us disponibles.Ils for restaurants and places to visit, brief and definitely a pleasant encounter another visit during our next trip in Rio de Janeiro.

Lovely location - safe, convenient access to metro, bus, stores, beach, cambio etc. Hosts Sylvia and Francesco are very caring and once we check-in, we are part of the family. In our specific case, I ran the Rio marathon and Francesco drove my wife and child all the way to the start line and finish line (distance of over 100 km!). They offer helpful suggestions and practical advice on tourism and moving about in Rio in general. Wi-fi connectivity is great, as advertised. Overall, enjoyed our stay and grateful to our hosts for making us feel so welcome.

location perfect - next to all nice places and beaches and a save area - very friendly hosts - the room is in a side track of the apartment with own bathroom - so you are not disturbing each other - wifi was also good- i could use my netbook in my room without problems-.

I enjoyed very much staying with this lovely family. Sylvia prepares the best "Pao de Queijo" and is always ready to help and provide advice. The room was as advertised and the bathroom was private. The location is indeed 2 blocks from Ipanema. Will come back when in Rio and would recommend. Khalid. 03-March-2012

We have during the carnival period with Sylvia and Francesco should stay. We got a great room with private bathroom, perfect location and are very friendly people. We can anyone recommend this accomodation. We will definitely come back!
