Until 01.03.2012 the holiday flat will be renovated and partially
redecorated. If you want to stay in the flat for two days, the cleaning price will be reduced to £35.00 and has to be paid on arrival.
The flat is in the middle of London, only a few minutes (a short walk) away from London Bridge and Tower Bridge; it is the ideal starting point to discover London and its many attractions. If you like to go shopping and/or discovering the beauty of the city, perhaps to learn English or to visit a museum, a theatre etc. Connections to public transport are excellent. If you want to come with a car, we can arrange a parking space for £15.00/week. Let us know in advance, if you like to book a parking space.
Just around the corner from the flat stops bus no. 1 at "Alscot Road" 24 hours a day. The route takes you to Oxford Street and Tottenham Court Road in less than 10 minutes or to the other side to Canada Water (where you find the Jubilee line). During daytime, Bus no. 78 picks you up in front of the flat, taking you to Shoreditch and Hoxton, where many bars and restaurants are located and the famous "Spitalfield" market. This bus stop is called "Longfield Estate".
The flat, which has been decorated in a cosy and modern style, has a small lobby, living room, kitchen, double bedroom and bathroom.
Living Room: Sofa, two armchairs, a lounge table, a small dining table with stools, a TV incl. DVD Player, Radio, WiFi, glass cabinet with enough drinking glasses as well as reading material and information about London, including city maps and other documentation from London and also several dictionaries (French/German/Dutch/Italian)
Kitchen: Microwave, including oven and grill, fridge, washing machine including a dryer, electric kettle, coffee machine, toaster, kitchenette, 4-burner gas stove, tea towels, sufficient cutlery and crockery, pots and pans, as well as other kitchen appliances.
Bedroom: A Queen size bed, small desk with chair, wall unit. There is enough bed linen available.
Bathroom: Hairdryer, WC, bathtub, sink, plenty of towels
