5 mins walk up the street of music shops, is the liveliest street of Istanbul, Istiklal Avenue, which is full of restaurants, cafés, bars, concert venues and art galleries. 5 mins walk down the hill is the Bosphorus, Galata Bridge and Eminonu Spice Bazaar. From there, the tramway goes directly to the historical area of Sultanahmet, where you will find the Blue Mosque, Haghia Sophia and other famous places.
A note about the renovation : The buildings of this historical neighborhood of Galata date from the end of the 18th century. Our flats were renovated by craftsmen using the finest traditional methods. They kept the old stones of walls and, under about twenty coats of paint, they discovered wonderful ancient patterns on the ceilings…
