Mt. Haruna (140km northwest of Tokyo) in Gunma is situated close to Lake Haruna, a volcanic crater. Around the lake, many activities are offered at your leisure. Boating, horseback riding, and go-cart racing are just some of the many activities nearby. A short ride over the mountains peaking 1,200 meters, pure nature is awaiting you. A cozy mountain campsite is situated right in between Haruna Shrine and Haruna Hotspring. Choose one of five bungalows at KozyKabins™ and relax the weekend away or participate in some outdoor adventures offered by AbseilingMe™. Ideal for couples, families with kids and pets, and groups of up to 50 people. Bikers warmly welcome. BBQ (2,000 Yen extra) and party (haruna.fm/llh) the night away. Weather is mild during green season ranging from April to November. Free shuttle from/to Annakaharuna shinkansen (bullet-train) station provided.
There're 3 triangular and 2 rectangular shaped bungalows available onsite. The photographs you see here are a collection of all the bungalows, the campsite, some activities, and the shrine nearby. You can't really choose your cabin now, but we'll make sure to give you a choice once you've arrived in the woods. One bungalow can hold up to 10 people. Usually shared accommodation but if space permits, we try to separate groups from couples to provide better privacy. Showers and toilets are inside the main building. The kitchen of the restaurant (2nd floor of the main building) can be used limited to prepare small meals, like cup noodles. Yummy BBQ is served in the evenings for an additional 2,000 Yen. The bonfire is always lit. The price of 4,000 Yen here includes bed and breakfast per person.
