The apartment is located at the Torreon (top of the house), great natural lighting and splendid views both enviroment; Sierra Nevada, Sacromonte and Generalife, and interior; Patio.
3 person maximun capacity, 60 m², 2 bedrooms, bathroom and livingroom.
It has refrigerator, microwave and breakfast set.
Wooden floors and wooden beamed ceiling interiors, large double glazed windows, air conditioning, electric heating, free wifi access and television.
It also has wooden crib for babies up to 2 years.
• Situation
Casa Morisca de Minas is located at the center of Albaicin, the district which retains the Moorish structure streets, squares and houses in Granada, declared a World Heritage area by UNESCO and located on the hill opposite the Alhambra.
5 minutes walk around the house you can find; the Mirador de San Nicolas, the Plaza Larga and Aliatar Square.
At the Albaicin and the surrounding area (about 10 minutes walk) you can enjoy the Flamenco Tablao and Sacromonte, Paseo del Darro and Paseo de los Tristes, both are famous tapas area in Granada.
• Enviroment
Granada was the last kingdom in Al-Andalus, from Seville to Almeria, almost the whole territory of Andalusia belonged to Granada. Besides the capital of this great kingdom, it was one of the most important cities in Europe, with an exemplary political and economic organization.
It is not possible to mention Granada without the Alhambra, undoubtedly the heart of the city, fortress of the IX-XII Century that contains big palaces and gardens, home of the caliphs of Al-Andalus.
Albaicin:
Albaicin district means the top village, is the old town of Granada and maintains the urban structure of the Nazari era, it is declared UNESCO World Heritage Site.
In a mountain where it looks like all its houses look at the Alhambra, contains the major number of monuments and old mosques (now churches) of the city. It is divided by small streets wich are joining placetas (squares), little squares and arches that reminds the beauty of this fortinicated city.
To access there, it is restricted go inside by car but in for other way, the whole albaicin has a very good communications by minibus, from Plaza Nueva.
Interest Places: The Mirador of San Nicolas is the most famous viewing-point of Granada with an incredible view to the Alhambra and Sierra Nevada. Plaza Larga is the old zoco of the Albaicin where still every morning you can see this typical market. Plaza de Aliatar is the more visited Tapas area at the Albaicin.
