Duplex in Saint Michel (G05481)

The Duplex is in an excellent location for visiting Paris with easy access to the whole city. The unit is very well maintained and clean. You have to go up one set of stairs to the first floor before you are able to take an two person elevator to the actual unit. The beds are a little on the hard side but OK. The unit has one nice sized shower and a large tub in one of the bathrooms. We had six people in the unit and it took us a few days to figure out a shower schedule so that we all had hot water, but we got it worked out. We would recommend purchasing a couple of fans if you are going to be there when it is hot there is no A/C in the unit. The street the unit is on is one of the main walking streets in Paris at night, it is very busy, which is nice as there is alot of places to eat and things to see, but it also has it draw backs as there is noise at night.

Dear Diane, Overall, my family and I enjoyed our stay very much in your apartment. My only complaint is that I could not reach anyone by telephone when I had a question. Only an answering machine in French which I tried to respond to but was not successful. Also, it would have been helpful to have instructions in English for how to use th washing machine. Otherwise it was very nice. Very nice renovation and very clean, most importantly. Thank you, Gaylyn Greiner

Everything almost perfect. Check flipped to the minute. An apartment, as you envision in Paris. Location is ideal. Market nearby, quiet and still belebt.Restaurants, coffee shops and metro nearby. Means beautiful in French. Just a second towel per person was missing. To checkout we waited an hour for nothing.

Thanks for the use of this apartment. The check-in was very easy and location was superb. The apartment was clean and user friendly. Would have liked a kettle just to heat up water for tea rather than coffee but I adapted. I will use this apartment again and recommend to others. Thanks again Barb

Great location in very nice building. No one to let us in when we arrived. No one answered the phone number we were told to call. We stood in the rain until we were helped by a resident for about half an hour until someone arrived to let us into the apartment. No one answered the phone number we were given at other times during our stay. Not quite as expected. Advertised washer/dryer but there was no dryer. Only received 4 towels for a weeks stay. Light over bathroom sink was out and never replaced. CD player didn't work. Windows looked out into other apartments. We didn't expect to be billed for over 100 euros unless we fully cleaned the apartment before we left. We never met the owner.

Excellent apartment and beautiful centrally located between Notre Dame, Pantheon and Jardin des Plantes. Metro doorstep for when you want to continue. Also with two adolescent children plenty of opportunities. Since the apartment is located in a courtyard you have no problem with noise. Also in the evening safe for a walk to Notre Dame. The appartment was clean, comfortable and well equiped and was ideally located to explore Rue Mouffetard and the surrounding area. Great for my business trip but even better for couples staying for a weekend or longer in Paris. Definitely recommended. Thanks too to Thomas for the friendly welcome. Merci!

We - a family of 4 children - were with this very tastefully furnished, clean apartment very satisfied. Kids loved the bunk beds. The living room is very cozy. We spent Christmas here, and despite that the living room is quite small but we had a beautiful Christmas tree standing in the corner next to the fireplace :-) The kitchen Well equipped, the apartment has all you need do! What is a big plus as well - the situation: the U7 is right outside the front door and has a direct connection to Gare de L'est - and all rooms are facing the court aligned - so QUIET. All in all, a perfect apartment, with only a small heel - 3 Stock WITHOUT LIFT - but I did not mind it - actually ideal for everyday fitness. The suitcases were kindly supported by a staff of Wimdu up (it got a tip from us). So hauling up the stairs was for us all when leaving the case. But as I said, this really is in this apartment, the smallest evil. Too bad I just think that was the cost of electricity at the end still be charged extra to the not very competitive rent - we were with electricity and gas handled sparingly and yet we had to for current 185 € and for gas € 158 for the period of 6 weeks pay!! Paris is really expensive ne veeeery corner!

Although we have not personally met Diane, our communication with her has always been very correct contestándonos always quickly and solving all our doubts. The apartment is as shown in the photos. It is well equipped and very comfortable and quiet. A few meters away there is a large supermarket with everything you need, a bakery and a subway station. It is conveniently located, walking perfectly reached many attractions. Our stay was perfect and we felt at home. We would definitely return.

The apartment is charming and comfortable. Located in the central area of Paris, it is an optimal choice to visit and living in this wonderful city. The owner and the agency were available for all our needs and inquires.
