In this part of Rome you can find relaxation and nightlife. The alley itself is characteristic and very quiet - here you can experience and feel the magical atmosphere of Rome. Here you can find a small cinema in original language, a art gallery, a typical carpenter's shop and a old grocery where you can buy all your foods.
Just outside the alley, penetrating the heart of Trastevere, there are shops, wine bars, folklore, trattorias and improvised markets on every corner.
The apartment is located in a strategic place to visit Rome by foot:
If you turn left, in 10 minutes you are at St. Peter's and Castel Sant'Angelo.
If you go straight on, crossing the bridge, you reach the most beautiful area of the center (there are many local, shopping and art galleries). In 8 minutes you reach Campo de Fiori, 9 mins Piazza Navona and in 1 minute more you can see the Pantheon. You can still choose to go Piazza Venezia and Colosseum (10 min more) or Piazza di Spagna (15 min more).
To the right, in 2 minutes you will reach the heart of Trastevere with S.M. in Trastevere and Piazza Trilussa (the neighborhood that represents Rome at its best).
