Romantic room next to the Galata Tower****(3)

A really pleasant few days. Tamuna met us promptly, provided a beautifully turned out apartment (5 bedrooms, all to ourselves), with Bosphorus views and a roof terrace for eating breakfast and early morning exercises... Top recommendations also from Tamuna on local fresh fish and a Hammam in north Taksim where we had a round trip in a taxi and a good couple of hours of massage, scrub and unwind for about £20 each. Things to improve - a lock on the bathroom door!

Nice room and good host. Rooms are clean and the stairs ain't scary.

I would say that many things can be improved. The bathroom is large and clean. But the worst is that there is only one toilet for 6 rooms, when we arrived in the house about 8 people I was messed up in this regard. That can not be, and on the other hand went cold in the room, as there was no heating, and were days of rain and cold, now in November. The kitchen we found a couple of the nights all without scrubbing, and remains of banana, on the table. It could sacrifice a room, and make a room for people to eat at ease-The house is very nice, and from our room was veíaa Galata Tower, The house is well located, but the stairs are deadly, even if Want it put your ass durito come good. And as Tamuna, I found a nice person ..

By the bank I can report on this property only positive. The apartment is tastefully decorated and with everything you need. The house is really in a prime location overlooking the Galata Tower. On the roof you can look over the whole city and see this type all sorts of turmoil in the streets and on the waterways in and around Istanbul. So have no doubt and booked this hotel. I would do it the next time definitely be back!

Very well located, very clean. Anouck and her team are very friendly and always willing to answer questions or give advice for Istanbul. Sensational is the very delicious Turkish breakfast on the roof terrace with views of the Bosphorus! I go back there again!

Very nice! Don't be afraid about the stairs(old and scary), the apartment is really nice, with a beautiful view (ask to visite the terrace, it's a must!!) and in a really strategical place (the best of the city in my opinion). Thank you Anouk, Adam Yurkan for this great experience

Hi, the room I booked was not available so I got a bigger doublebed room with a great view on the Galata Tower. Nice host Tamuna (Thanks again ! ), great shower and fast internet. What more could a weary traveller want ?

Beautifully restored apartment in good location. Great value for larger groep.Keuken is small, space for up to 3 people. Few dishes. Clean, good beds. Simple douche.Foto's give realistic picture. Beautiful views over the Bosphorus and overlooking the old town. Hallway / stairwell is very necessary to a facelift. Friendly helpfull reception.

I liked my room a lot. The apartment offers some cooking facilities and a washing machine and WiFi. Shower and toilet are shared with three other rooms within the apartment and are kept exceptionally clean. Depending on the occupants of the other rooms it can probably get a bit noisy but didn't during my stay. The Apartment is situated in an old building with lots of atmosphere and a sitting area on the roof top which offers an unbelievable view of the Bosporus. Liked it very much. Tamuna was an accommodating and helpful hostess and very friendly. Highly recommended.

Very good location nice apartment. Terrace with great views! Nice landlady. Everything went perfectly with her. Overview (left below the photo) but it has two flaws: It only has 4 bedrooms! Not 5 One of them has three chairs and one table, so you can use it as a living room. But if one is to seventh or eight, you have no living room! The 130 square meter also agree not safe. There is a lot smaller. But if you know the: Recommended!
