This american run perfectly adequate and renovated apartment offers space for up to 4 people in a room. It is situated in the historical center. From the apartment you can easily reach Prague Castle, Charles Bridge and regular public transport service.
Our comfortable self catering apartment includes a kitchenette and a bathroom.
The apartment is decorated really nice. The location is fine, the Wenceslas Square you walk ~ 20-30 minutes or you can use the tram. A bus stop is 2 minutes walk from the apartment. Wireless reception we had but unfortunately not. The checking in and out was very easy. Overall we had a pleasant stay.
Don't get me wrong - the room, if you actually get it, is great. The service, however, sucks.
First night they gave the wrong apartment, claiming Wimdu had called them for the other one - which is off course nonsense, it all goes automated through the website, where they get to see what I booked when they have to confirm it. But they simply decided to put me in the other apartment that they have, which is not as comfortable, has noise from the street, kitchen and bathroom in the same room and small beds.
They claimed the other room had been rented out already to someone who would be staying there for a long time. It was evening, if I needed things sorted out, I'd have to come during the day when someone in the office could help me.
The next day I came by several times, but never was there anyone who could help me. In the evening "suddenly" the person who was supposed to rent MY room (the night before they claimed he was already in it!) had cancelled, and I could have it after all.
After I moved, it turned out this room had no wifi, and it took me another day before that was fixed.
I hoped to come to an understanding with the boss for some compensation, but he outright denied that.
So once again - the apartment is great, wonderful location etc. That in itself would get 4 stars.
But in the night, the people of the restaurant can't really help you if there's a problem (and have wrong info for wifi etc.), and during the day, it's hard to get hold of someone who actually can, and they're not really accomodating if you get them.
And worst of all - you run the risk of your apartment not even being available, and they tuck you into another one.
The apartment is great centrally, near the Charles bridge. which means you can reach the old town easily on foot. The apartment is equipped by and large nice. which irritated us was something the narrow courtyard, where the rubbish containers of irish pubs are lying underneath. in summer will likely reveal some offense, for us in october it was not so bad. to cook, there are two focal plates, we have gejausnet therefore only cold, and the mattresses are taken something and saggy.
Sweet little Wohung dirket in the embassy district. Located above a bar that belongs to the operators. Unfortunately, the WiFi only works there, but free. Because there are only window to the courtyard and the kitchen to show it always smells very rigorously boiled and deep fryer. Whom you do not mind, the apartment is highly recommended. From here, many attractions can be reached on foot.
Excellent location, close to the Charles Bridge but quiet (1st floor courtyard). very spacious apartment, renovated and well equipped, clean. Plan.L a good home its been nice in the restaurant on the ground floor, which can keep your luggage to enjoy one last day.
We spent 5 days there and had really great time. First of all location of the apartment is the best you can find in Prague. Walkable to everywhere. There is a restaurant/bar just under the apartment, their employees are so helpful and they have the best beers of prague :) The worst thing about apartment there is no wifi even we asked by email before we go and they said they have it but there was no wifi that was the only dissapointment for us.You have to go downstairs to use Pub's free wifi.
The location is great! The apartment is clean, living / bedroom is nice. The kitchen is not suitable for cooking. Wlan works - as we believe - probably never. Feelings are unfortunately down to the bar, where you can also store your luggage. The host always responds very quickly.
You will be refunded the total price minus the Wimdu cancellation fee if you cancel the booking at least 4 days before check-in (by 12 noon, local time). For cancellations that are made less than 4 days before check-in, you will be refunded 5% of the total price minus the Wimdu cancellation fee.
