Lovely Apartment, Central Florence

Smooth handling, fast and very personable! Paolo is very friendly, courteous and helpful. The charming and centrally located apartment.

Paolo was a great host. He met us at the train station and showed us to the apartment which was very close to the train station and Santa Maria Novella church. He sat down with us and showed us a map and explained where we were and showed us where all the main sights were. He recommended two restaurants which we ate at and were excellent. The apartment was so cute, we loved it. It was very nice to have our own apartment rather than stay at a hotel. It doesn't take long to walk to the Uffizi or Palazzo Vecchio, or really anywhere in Florence. There's an internet cafe right beside the apartment which was helpful because there's no wifi. When we come back to Florence, we're definitely staying here again!

Paolo is an excellent host. All the information and facilities to enjoy Firenze is gently given by Paolo. The house is lovely and charming, 5 minutes to downtown. Perfect for exploring Firenze on foot. We enjoyed a lot the city thank to the location of the apartment.

Very charming appartment! Lovely ceiling! In the centre of Firenze, everything is nearby. Paolo is a great host, very friendly! Gives you tips about things to do and see in Firenze en speaks English good. Would definitely reccomend this appartement to friends and family.

Paolo's apartment was beautiful. He met us at the train station and guided us back to the apartment. He was very friendly and helpful, and provided maps and details of good restaurants nearby etc. He also took us on a tour of Tuscany (at an additional fee, but so worth it!). The day in Tuscany was amazing and Paolo was a great guide.

Such a great alternative to hotels -- excellent value. Paolo is a most gracious host, and the little apartment is indeed charming, and well-appointed. The air-conditioning was a delightful surprise, and turned out to be very useful, as leaving the windows open all night was not really an option -- very popular bar right across the way, for one thing, and also not very secure-feeling. SO, lovely double-glazed windows did their job, and the a/c did its job! Discovered a delicious "Alimentari" just steps away and happily feasted on bread, cheese, and wine in our own little kitchen. Since we were two unrelated adults, the beds were a bit dicey, with the foldout marginal, BUT the good news is that we had much more space than most hotels would afford -- the "standard double" often has the two twin beds separated by an inch! Here, we had some privacy, and that was terrific. Overall, great location just steps from the Arno, the station, and SMN square, although a bit out-lying for challenged walkers, like me. But to be honest, all of Florence a bit of a stretch if you have any mobility limitations. The secret weapon? The taxi! Not the expensive, and free to zip around the old city at will.... So, overall, RECOMMENDED!

The apartment was great, only 5 minutes walk from the trainstation. Host Paolo is really nice, very quick with responses and he came to pick us up at the trainstation. At first we were a bit worried as there was a nightclub opposite the trainstation, but we couldn't hear anything when we closed the windows at night. So all good

A great place to see Florence, a cozy and with all the necessities, perfect location. Paolo is very attentive and helpful. Highly recommended.
