Cozy Studio (H1) near Itaewon

Very nice studio, near to the subway and Sam was really helpful ! We go back there for sure next time !

We (a couple) stayed 2 weeks in this lovely apartment and had the most wonderful time here. The host Mrs Soo sent us a lot of information about the studio beforehand so that we felt safe and taken care of long before we arrived. Mrs Soo welcomed us very kindly on the day of our check-in and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. She even left some sweets for us! The apartment itself is exactly like the photos show: very clean, nicely furnished and cozy. Since there is everything you need, we didn't have to bring much stuff except our own luggage. There were tooth paste, shampoo, toilet paper, towels, laundry detergent and even water and instant noodles! We stayed in the very cold december and january time but the (floor!) heating system worked perfectly so that we always were warm. The apartment is just 3 minutes from exit 3 of the subway station Samgakji which is close to Itaewon and Yongsan. There are 2 metro lines and we always got to our destinations very quickly. There are a lot of bus lines as well but the metro was perfect for us. You can also catch a cab at every day or night time in few minutes. Just some meters away from the house door, you can find a convenience store who offers some daily supplies 24 hours a day. It was even open on Christmas! We enjoyed the stay very very much and highly recommend this studio. Mrs Soo and her husband are the most wonderful and kind hosts and we would always come back here in the future!

The studio have a good location. It 's only taking 5 ''mins to subway station. The studio is big enough comparing with hotel room. And so and Marie are nice and helpful. when I discovered that the heating system is broken after 00:00. They tried to search all the method to help you, and finally we move to another studio to stay 1 night. And they came to fix the problem in next day morning. To conclude, I will stay at this studio when I come to Seoul again.

I spent three weeks in this studio, and everything was perfect. It’s central, you can walk to the war memorial. In the flat, there’s all you need, in the kitchen and the bathroom, the room is nice, quite big, and very comfortable, for a short or a long term stay, it’s perfect. Bedsheets and towels are changed every week. Soo and her family are very nice, they always ask you if need something, and they are also very good tourist guides since they call you whenever there’s a big event taking place in Seoul you shouldn’t miss. I warmly recommand this place !

The place is really good to stay, which is near to the center, quiet, near to the subway (3 min by walk), G25 (if you feel hungry at night^^), i felt really secure. I stayed like 20 days there. ... really really a very nice family with a kind heart. The father's Young waited so long for me the first day of my arrival .. but he was there, with the smile and took time to explain all about area and studio. Everythings goes well and he always care...asking if i need something more.. i met also the mother and auntie.. very very sweet women!!! i wish i could know them more (they kept my big luggage meanwhile i was to Busan and Jeju)...anyway the studio has everything we need..maybe just missed an irons^^..anyway i plan to go again in Korea and of course, i will stay at the same place and i will recommend them 100% !!

I stayed at this apartment for 3 weeks. It was an amazing experience! I met Young's mother when I arrived she was wonderful in explaining things. The apartment is spacious, clean and well stocked with everything one needs. It is very close to the subway station and a lot of very good restaurants. If I ever stay in Seoul again, I will certainly book with Young!

Easy to get to and from, a minute or two from a subway station and bus stops. Room is cosy and clean, with towels, umbrellas, snacks etc provided. TV has plenty of channels if you ever get bored, which is a nice feature. Overall a very comfortable stay. We were warmly welcomed by the host's mother who let us know how to use everything from the heating to the washing machine. The only negative is it's a bit noisy - so if you're a light sleeper it may be a problem. The apartment is on the ground floor next to the main entrance of the block, so there is quite a bit of noise of people going up and down stairs, opening doors, passing cars, etc. You also hear the water running through the pipes when people use it and the refrigerator is quite noisy every now and again. But I think if you're a typical tourist walking around Seoul all day, or you're used to apartments, these things won't bother you as you'll be quickly falling asleep from tiredness! Overall, good value for money and a pleasant stay! Next time I need a place in Seoul for a week or two, I'll be sure to come back.

My friends(2) and I had a great stay in Young's studio. We feel exactly like we found our a place which can be called home in Seoul. 3 mins walk to subway station. The price was really resonable. Young's mom and aunt were really nice and friendly! A huge Recommend!

I stayed in the apartament for two months and half and everything was perfect, was like my home!! Miss Young was like my sister she take care of everything, even the mother was really really kind! The apartament was clean and new, if i will be visiting Seoul again i definitely back there! GRAZIE!!!!!!!!!!

I enjoyed my stay here while me and my two friends explore Seoul. It's a pretty good location, it's close to a subway station and many bus stops. The closest subway is Samgakji station exit 3, which is about a 2 minutes walk. If you want to try the city's most well-known bath house- Dragon Hill Spa, it is only about a 15 minutes walk. There's also a mall right beside the spa and many restaurants in that area. The War Memorial is also very close, about a 15 minute walk in the opposite direction of the spa. Myeon-dong (a tourist shopping heaven) is a 10 minute subway ride away. Hongdae (college student area with lots of things to buy and street performance) is about a 20 minute subway ride away. The host was great- very efficient and responsive. The light in the bathroom went out on our first night, but after a quick email, it was fix the next day. The host also provided us with some welcome food, which was great since we wanted something to snack on while we unpack. The neighbourhood is safe and there are convenient stores and chicken places near by if you need a late night snack. I recommend trying the original chicken and sweet sauce chicken and beer. Overall, I had a great experience. Good area, great host and many memories. One note to visitors: The bathroom is also the shower. There is no separate section designated for showering so once you shower, you get the whole bathroom wet. Be sure to put your dry clothes and towels in the cabinet in the bathroom.
