Large, Bright Apartment in Vienna (LA11-14)

We were very happy to stay in this apartment. Very close to Prater Park and traveling with children this could't be better. The surroundings are really fine. Lots of green and close to stores and restaurants. Very nice and clean apartment. We had a great stay in Vienna.

Nice modern apartment in an old building with Art Nouveau look. Unfortunately busy road causing windows to the front night could not open, but in the middle of busy city life, public transportation right outside the door and then you are within 10 minutes in the center! Windows behind peaceful courtyard where blackbirds whistling. Excellent beds, unfortunately somewhat synthetic bedding. Luxury kitchen, no food available so you have to buy everything first entry such as salt and pepper. Shops can be right around the corner. Downstairs is a nice Turkish bakery which is open day and night and has fresh bread! This makes you feel right at home in this neighborhood.

We rented two apartments from Walter in this building. The apartments were comfortable and clean, and the location is very good. There is an U-Bahn station right downstairs which will get you to the center of Vienna in 20 minutes. Very easy to get around. The Prater is a 10 minute walk. There are a few restaurants close by - nothing special - but good for a quick meal. I would stay here again if coming back to Vienna. What a beautiful city! Give yourself at least 1/2 a day at the Schonbrunn Palace. Even if you don't like classical music, take a tour of the Musikverein. Take the tram around the Ringstrasse.

We had a great time. The apartment is very well placed to visit this beautiful city. It only lacks a microwave oven. Perfect home, impeccable instructions. Walter and Birgit are very friendly and very dedicated.

Apartment was exactly as written. Subway is all wonderful to reach the next door and from there. The Prater is easily reachable on foot. Parking is very difficult. Mondays from 8:00 clock to 22:00 clock Friday you have to pay everywhere. And beware: the cars are quickly subject to fines or even towed

Hello to everybody! This is one more experience with our host Walter and his appartment. We are fully enjoyed with our staying in this appt from 03.05.2013 till 11.05.2013. Everything is organized perfectly, the appt is clean, supermarket is near by, no problems with city traffic. We hope to return to Vienna and our Walter someday

Everything great, great stay! Good experience ...

Spacious apartment in an attractive style. It was neat and clean. However, we missed some luxuries like wifi and a DVD player, nice high chairs (folding chairs only). The cabinets are very simple (simple kit versions which several fronts fell off). Some basics were missing, such as a broom, a bread knife, some spice jars, etc. Within 200 meters underground, a mac donalds, a coffee shop, a bakery and balances. For the rest, there is nothing within walking distance to do or see, except a lot of traffic.
