Amazing Apartment in New York

We stayed there from May 12 to May 19. the location is quite far from Manhattan. but we found it ok ... so you learn the suburbs .. you go from the house and left a few houses away is a nice clean store with nice people where we got drinks and fruit. it is about 10 min nice walk to the bus / subway line. on broadway avenue you the best bus and get out at myrthe / boardwalk and here the metro Y / Z get to downtown Manhattan. from there you can go wherever you want. all together: walking, bus and metro takes about 45 min before you are in downtown. there is also price ..... a metro / bus pass costs $ 31 a week .... if you want to explore new york good (and you're so far away) then a metro map this is also essential .... valid on trains (of the city) and buses. the neighborhoods are safe, but follow your feeling ...... if you really love and security are skittish, but do not go here ... you have to stand your ground ..... if you talk a lot with and the locals (like me) good american can talk and the right accents can explain, the district super nice .... the people respect you very .... we were welcomed by rafaela .... she is super nice and helpful, her husband. rafaela can not understand english so well, but read. but her husband does and another woman who lives there. they always help you if you need anything .... rafaela want to solve everything, they do not want you to go through a problem .... so say anything.On arrival neatly received and given room with short explanation. This was enough .... then there were some questions, but all answered. For example, we had no towels. these layers neatly into a bag when we came back. there is wifi ... but is malfunctioning or not .... she has a piece or 5's wifi. so try ..... otherwise you appeal rafaela .... the best place is the kitchen or other floors .... the room for the price. I had a Lovely place. also air conditioning, but it is super loud. it is not cleaned. do you towels and sheets to ask .... the bathroom has a point. this is when everything is packed by 6 to 8 people shared. Unfortunately not everyone cleans hair on zn. the bathroom is simple and a little dirty. the bathroom is ok, but often breaks down at the lever. it is often the toilet paper on. in the kitchen, you can sit with two people .... you do have glasses are ... they are dirty ... you can sit outside in a secure fence with front yard and the street experience .... the man has Rafaele (after we asked) brought us to penn station for $ 35 ..... I would next time with her books ......

A nice value for money, if the day is going to exterrieur understand the subway to get to the MOMA in half an hour for such JFK less than an hour

If next time go to New York i would defently stay in her house. Theres TV, s sofa, double size bed and a kitchen. The host is very helpful and friendly, if you need a towel, a blanket etc. she will give it to you. The location is great, therse chinese restaurant, fast food restaurant, metro station, super market very close and it takes by metro 20min to the Manhatten. Very satisfied

I never stayed at this location and i booked by accident. when i tried to get a refund they were uncooperative and somewhat greedy after a valid explanation. it make me wonder but karma always takes care of things, so no worries.

The neighborhood may seem a disadvantage, but we felt safe. Only 25 minutes from Manhattan with the subway, which is close to the apartment (5 minutes walk). Quiet room overlooking a backyard. Bright room and without flap, thus possibly predict sleep masks. Place shortly socket and sparsely decorated but clean properly. Kitchen with a large fridge, but too narrow to eat more than 2. Raphaela is very nice. Do not hesitate to ask for her number, because it is often not there.

Perfect if you're looking for an affordable bedroom for a short stay in a condo near manhattan with parking, a/c, fridge, cable tv, and wi-fi. I had an awesome time.

not very good neighborhood, all spanish speaking, we stayed for 6 nights, room was not cleaned during our stay, no towels, no air conditioning, kitchen was not clean, but quiet in the house

I can not recommend this place. During my stay the Wi-Fi did not work. Unable to contact Rafaela (it did not satisfy phones and SMS) She does not live in maison.Je've never met. There is another woman who lived there called Rosa, she is nice but she speaks only Spanish and did not help much. No towels, sheets .. questionable cleanliness. I had to insist on a blanket (it was cold). No furniture or chair in the bathroom, no mirror. A little difficult to use the bathroom, three common rooms. Very nice host and visiting service, against it is a shame not to mention that the bathroom and kitchen are shared with other locataires.Bien located not far from the subway and shopping.

Attention to the website n not indicate the precise address was not home 2:30 ET turn nice! Y returns more and it's not a liar is 15min from downtown but 40 minutes!
