Taksim duplex one-bedroom apartment

It was a really nice apartment with a very friendly team. Apartment was warm and with a good location.

Nice and clean place, very close to the Istanbul center just there is some noise when some one close the main door because it is made from iron.

Convenient location easy to commute. Electrical appliance fully functional and excellent. Clean and neat were of excellent standard. Reasonable size. Will be more than happy to stay again.

Very nice service, always friendly and uncomplicated, everything worked. The apartment is super close to Taksim and Beyoglu. Apartment quite narrow, extra beds (sofa bed) uncomfortable, not enough space. Frotier and linen very clean and good. Apartment was clean. Kitchen very small facilities were good. Bathroom very small. Electrical installations in some rather poorly.

The accommodation was up on the bed a disaster, a slight improvement could be achieved if one dish, mitbrächte a stove, a TV and tool, for example, the window closable prepare. The photos were awesome, like the airbrushed IKEA - catalogs. The Wimdu employee / inside were very friendly on the phone, the result of the appeal Managementes but extremely unpleasant. The offered as a replacement voucher of 50 €! (Apartment / 5 days / 700 €) will not be redeemed for sure. My experiences are in no way suitable to have another book about this agent. JL

We had better expectations concerning the Tünel apartment in Istanbul, but the overall experience was quite okay. What we liked: -the location, close to Taksim place and Itsiklal street. Modern city. Very easy to go to the Old city center from here and to many other places. Istiklal is very lively and is great to go out. -flat enough equiped (as said on the website) small hairdryer, some cooking tools... -kind personel -the owner was also kind and helpful and anwered quickly to my emails for the booking. What we liked less: -we had not been inform of the change of the apartment for the first night. We had forgotten to book for the first night so I wrote an email (the very same day) to tell them and they said we did not have to worry as they will book it for us, but they did not tell us it would be a different appartment. The apartment was fine but I would have liked to be inform before. -I had to call them several times, which is quite expensive. I called because we did not have toilet paper and I also asked for an extra blanket. They offered to have the cleaning lady come and clean so she could put some. When we came back, it was clean but no toilet paper nor blanket... And my towel had disappeared (probably because it was the same colour as theirs...but still). I had to call back and she came back only with the toilet paper. I had to call back for my towel almost everyday, and also because we did not have hot water for the shower, and a lampbulb broke... They fixed the shower. They finally fixed the lampbulb of the bedroom one day before we left (7 days stand) and did not find my towel. They finally bought me a new (cheap) one. We never got the extra blanket. -The roof is very low and we cannot notice it on the pictures provided on the website. -There was a bad smell in the flat. -The street where it is located is not that nice, and children in the street new the code to enter the building... -Some part of the flat were not that clean and there was a chewing gum stuck behing a curtain on the wall, and people had written on it too... General conclusion: the location is definetly a plus. We really loved being close to Taksim and Istiklal. It is really nice to have our own apartment in the city center and there are enough room for two people. If you are not nit-picking as we are, the flat is surely good enough for you. And we also know that many of those problems we had were due to bad luck and not because of the flat itself.

Furthermore you really relax in Necdet’s House with his beautiful flower garden, it’s at the old Greek neighborhood on the quit side of the island but only 5 minutes away from the Amenities. Cunda has one of the clearest beaches at the Aegean Sea, you really find anything here for a great summer Holiday with your Family. The kids can play all around as it’s very secure. Not; I suggest going by car or hiring a Car to explore the surrounding of Cunda and Ayvalık.

Necdet is very helpful host. Whenever we need something, they solved our problem immediately. Also, location of the house was great. We went everywhere easily and Necdet informed us about transportation.
