House rules

GENERAL
In this comfortable apartment the guest makes the rules.
The important thing is to live this extraordinary location, demonstrate the ability to receive of the natives and to have fun and learn as much as you can during your stay.
Cherish the house and it's belongings as your own.
The apartment is on a residential building, so all apartments are used by full time residents. QUIET HOURS are 10 PM to 8 AM.

CLEANING AND TRASH
The apartment is perfectly clean at time of check-in, please have the same care.
Cleaning supplies are located under the sink, including dish detergent. Extra toilet paper is located inside the cabinet at bathroom.
Please remember to take out the garbage to the street bin on the other side of the road, as the council will collect it from Monday to Saturday.
The recycled waste such as paper, plastic and glass may be place in the respective bins which are 100m in direction of city center.

SAFETY
All doors must be locked during the absence of Tenant.
All appliances, except refrigerators and wifi router, must be turned off before leaving the unit.

KITCHEN
Glasses and dishes are in the upper cabinets, pans and accessories are located in the lower cabinets, cutlery, cloths and towels are in drawers.
There are a few spices and kitchen basics, but plan on supplying your own.
If you use the kitchen, please clean what you use.

BED LINEN
While fresh linens and bath towels are included in the apartment (one set per each guest), daily maid service is not included in the rental rate.

DEPARTURE CHECKLIST
Turn off all lights
Close doors and windows
Turn off heater/ fans
Dispose of all perishable foods (except bottles and condiments)
Dispose of remaining food that has been opened.
Take trash out and place it all in the proper bin.
Report any damage or broken items

The room is clean and correct. The hot water is very poor. The problem is the distance to downtown. It needs to walk 15mn or more. Porto is on the hill. The ratio quality price is good.

Isabel welcomed us very warmly. She provided us very good advice regarding our stay in Porto. She and her husband were available to help us if any problem happened (which fortunately was not the case). So I recommend them very warmly as hosts in Porto. The only dark spot during our stay was hot water: the water heater in the Covelo apartment is old and small, so that there is not enough hot water for a bath, and the flow is too slow for a shower to be comfortable. But we were on holidays, it was totally ok to spend a week in these conditions, and we preferred to make do rather than bothering our hosts with this. We only mentioned it on leaving.

We were very satisfied with our staying in Isabel' s apartment. It's very clean and can accommodate up to 4 people. Its easy to park in its surrounding and it is seems to be a safe area.. We were also happy with its position because it' s easy to walk to Marques Subway Station or it takes about 25 min walking to the city centre. Isabel was always punctual, she  was helpful and kind.  We recommend this apartment as well as visiting the city of Porto.
