The Wimdu Scholarship programme is designed to recognize the skills that are fundamental to a successful marketing campaign in a fast-paced, global economy. A scholarship of $2000 will be provided annually in February to assist a promising student interested in pursuing a career in business and marketing related fields. Since its launch in 2011 Wimdu GmbH has played an important role in disrupting the travel industry through innovative strategies and business marketing campaigns. Application Deadline: January 10, 2014
All entrants must be entering their final year of study in a degree connected to the fields of Marketing, Business Administration or Communications for the academic year 2013-2014. All applications must be made from an associated* college/university email account and have attached proof from the college/university that confirms the applicant meets the set criteria. The award is open to all nationalities, provided they are enrolled at a US-based college or university.
Applicants are asked to supply to our judging panel with a 1500-2000 word synopsis of a Marketing campaign aimed at increasing the awareness of the Wimdu brand in the US. The judges will select the most creative and compelling idea submitted. Applications for the next academic year will open at 9am on September 2, 2013 and close on 11.59pm January 10, 2014. The successful applicant will be announced on February 3, 2014.
