Where should i start from?
A good coordination with the Host from the moment i landed in the airport him talking to the Taxi Driver in Turkish Language explaining to him what to do? Should i mention that he personally helped me with my bags up to the apartment ( Eventhough there was a lift but his help was a nice personal touch!
To describe the apartment itself, i think Cedric should change upgrade its name as the Jewel of the Bosphorus downgrades it, it is much more than that, the vasty dining area and its connection to the sitting room is so convenient, you know what, the whole time you are in those rooms, you are viewing the full Bosphorus as well as the bridge...
i must mention that the birds noise in the morning has been always the best alarm clock for me and my family, you wonder being so much surrounded by trees from the kitchen balcony, from the sitting area huge windows, from the bed rooms...
the small balcony is very suitable to spend long time whether drinking a warm cup of tea, enjoying your fruit platter, just meditating with the marvelous view, it is all nice...
Cedric - the host - never saved any of his experience being a Renovist for his flat, it has something unique in every square foot of it, in every corner, the furniture quality so high in the living room and dining area, average in the bed rooms.
The kitchen i bet is equipped with every single thing you could imagine you would need to make your meals starting with an excellent oven, Dishwasher, lots and lots of cooking utensils, big fridge, and not last a microwave...
There are supermarkets all around you with 7 minutes walking distance, most of them deliver...
Reaching The Historical Area is 25 to 30 min away / There is a place called ''Camlica'', pronounced as ''Shamlija'' which is 8 minutes by taxi, it is a high mountain over-viewing all Istanbul and the Bosphorus, average restaurants are there for a good lunch, lots of Pine Nuts Trees, you enjoy peeling some pinenuts yourself that are already furnishing the ground of the forest.
If you plan to do a trip to cross the Bosphorus, this is just 12 min away by taxi and then take the big ship for 25 TL for 1.5 hours trip... Nice experience.
Marmaray Metro Station is just 10 min by taxi or 15 min by public bus transportation...
Dunno what else to mention, all in all, it is a great experience with great people...
Eine wirklich sehr schöne Unterkunft. Super geschlafen. Danke Cedric!!!!!!!!
Apartment beautiful, even luxurious, tastefully decorated, all amenities, stunning views of the Bosphorus.
Warm, discreet host, very attentive and helpful, a very valuable aid to any practical problems, speak several languages.
In short, a real delight. We recommend the "Jewel of the Bosphorus."

To say that Cedric`s appartment is "nice" is a clear understatement. It`s a beautiful home with exclusive furnitue, where every detail is tastefully arranged. Very clean and organized household. My Argentine friend and I were very grateful for the host`s unlimited disposition to help with any kind of questions, problems, needs. We had not expected breakfast and were delighted to have it. Cedric is a real cosmopolitan and conversing with him we learnt not only about Istanbul and Turkey, but exchanged views on other countries and that added a very special experience to our stay in Istanbul. Highly recommendable!
That was a 100% turkish expirience with a french touch! Im and my parents stayed for 5 days with Cedric and that were our best time in Istanbul. Bearing in the mind that my parents dont know any English and they are quite humble people Cedric make the atmosphere so laid-back and comfortable. The appartment is spacious and clean, beautifuly designed and has absolutely stunning view on the Bosphorus. The suburb where the appartment situated, a Beylerbey, looks like the cleanest ans the most secure in istanbul.
We rarely even see Cedric as he was busy most of the time, so my parents been comfortable and each time Cedric came to the appartment he generously treat us with different delicious food and pleasant conversations - that was so nice and kind of him and at the same time very natural. He is also provided hips of tips and tricks and that special transport divice "Akbill", which can considerably reduce the cost of travel while you in Istanbul. Well, I forgot to mention a little fridge full of different delicious food for his guests.
Overall, I can say that it was so much more than I even have expected before. Highly recommended.
The flat was very nice and Cedrik, the owner, and his girlfriend also. Cedrik speeks English very well, his girlfriend only Turkish. Everything was clean.
We enjoyed the few to the Bosporus very much.
What we didn't know in advance, that the two persons were living with us.
So we had our sleepingrooms, the rest we splitted like a living-community.

We had a wonderful time at Cedric's place and with Cedric. The house is beautiful, very spacious and clean, with indeed the wonderful view of the Bosporus and public transport readily available.
More importantly, the host is a real gentleman, very helpful, cheerful, informative, relaxed, caring and he speaks Turkish, French and English fluently, which is a great help in Turkey, where very few people speak any foreign language.
I was truly amazed when he offered us the use of his fully packed refrigarator and all other contents of his kitchen, including nice rolls of bread and buckets full of fresh oranges for breakfast, drinking water in huge quantities which we didn't have to carry ourselves uphill, coffee, wine, everthing you otherwise, when staying in an appartment for just a few days, have to buy in greater quantity than you can ever use, and therefore leave behind most of it for the next occupant or even have to throw away. He also provided us with a device to make use of public transport very cheaply.
I was shy to make use of all this the first few hours, but, being the gentleman he is, he soon made me feel it was his pleasure to see me use his things, and I really started to feel that way. My companions felt the same way. I was there with my two daughters aged 20 and 14 and one of their friends aged 20 also, they too felt completely at ease and happy in the house and with Cedric, whom we all have regularly asked for advice and who never lacked the right answer because he knows everything about Istanbul.
It was great!
