In the same apartment we offer our guests three double rooms with three bathrooms, with names of famous people of ancient times:
Poppea's room (romantic and elegant)
Octavian's room (modern and regal)
Nausicaa's room (warm white)
It is located on the fourth floor of a characteristic building of the late nineteenth century, with lift, in the elegant Prati neighborhood in a strategic position REALLY CENTRAL:
200 meters from the Vatican Museums, 100 Mt from Metro line A Ottaviano San Pietro / Vatican Museums, with which you can reach in 5 minutes the historic center of the city.
In five minutes walk you will find the St. Peter's Basilica and Castel Sant'Angelo, but not only can know the life of this neighborhood living like a true Roman.
You can go shopping in one of the most famous streets in Rome, stroll through the shops of Borgo, turn to the traditional local markets (there are two very close to home, one of the early twentieth century and the other more 'modern). The area is full of typical restaurants where you can taste the real Roman cuisine, make a drink, and even taste the pizza and ice cream so fond of the Romans. In addition, the area offers bookstores, gourmet shops, cinemas, flower market, pubs and much more.
Although located in the center of the city, the area is not limited to traffic, so you can use your car any time.
Nausicaa's room is large (18 square meters) and very bright, overlooking the main street. There are two single beds that can be joined and become beds. Inside the room there is a beautifull design bathroom with a spacious shower, we provide towels and linen. New windows throughout the apartment provide quiet and warm.
Each room is equipped with TV, kettle and what needs to breakfast in room.
Upon request we can arrange breakfast in a beautiful bistro just below the house.
The light and brightness of this home will amaze you and make your stay full of warmth.
For me as a passionate style Shabby Schic, white pickled and old furniture are the hallmark of this home.
ABOUT U.S.: Letizia & Leticia
With the same name and the same zodiac sign-twins-but from geographically distant countries, but similar in culture, we met in Rome.
I am Letizia, Roman in Rome and are happy to open the doors of my house. I'm a soprano, passionate interpreter of Neapolitan songs and Baroque music, who loves art, cooking, travel.
Leticia is Brazilian but instead of Italian heart (especially Roman!), Food and wine journalist is an international correspondent for Brazil. A tireless traveler, curious and passionate about the "sweet life".
The two have traveled the world for work-for-all five continents with their 'small' wealth of experience, will have the pleasure to let you discover that for them this is the most beautiful city in the world!
Leticia says Letizia: Its craze is to have eyes that are always looking for something nice to take home. It can be a flower, a new rug or a beautiful work of art.
Letizia Leticia says: Like all women twins, every day at least think in a new project. His fantasy is to live forever in Rome because there is ice cream melon!
Tell us what you like to do in Rome: art, music, history, shopping, gastronomy? Or just do nothing with a glass of wine in hand watching the sunset and the unique color that is here ...

We stayed in the apartment of Letizia in October 2013, and it was really great! The rooms are very clean and spacious. When we arrived Letizia gave us a warm welcome, and it feels like home. And from this Bed & Breakfast we walked to the Vatican City in 5 minutes, and the Metro was a two minute walk. And what we really liked, was the authentic feeling when you come in the building, whit the high sealing’s, and it we were really surprised by it. We will come back very soon, and one thing is for sure, we will stay in the B&B off Letizia!

The best feature of this appartment is its very good location: in the Vatican, just a 5 or 10 minute walk to the St. Peter. There are many shops and restaurants very close by, and there is a metro station just around the corner.
The appartment itself is clean and well furnished and decorated, with a good kitchen and a decent bathroom and shower. It is on the fourth floor, but there is a (small) elevator that quickly brings you there. The lady who runs the appartment, Letizia, is very friendly and helpful, and can point out he best places in Rome to visit or to eat.
There's one thing that might be problematic: the noise of the traffic. Somehow, the small street amplifies the sound of passing cars and scooters, which gives a constant noise, even at night and even with closed windows. You should definitely bring earplugs, especially when it's hot and you want to leave the windows open.
But all in all, this is a very good place to stay when you visit Rome and the Vatican, better than hostels and as good as most hotels I think, especially for this price.
Bring your earplugs
We received a warm welcome from Letizia, the apartment is great, clean, spacious and very well appointed. Great delicacy and artistry in decorating we have admired for our greatest satisfaction. We highly recommend this apartment
We had the pleasure of enjoying one weeks this central location and modern accommodation in the heart of Rome. The Vatican and St. Peter's Basilica is thus also a 5 minute walk away and numerous restaurants, cafes and shops round out a unique experience in this charming part of Rome. The nearest underground station is only about 50 meters away, so all Rome's attractions are within easy reach, but we are also happy to go on foot because you can always get new impressions. Absolutely sensational this was the help of our landlady Letizia. Letizia is not only a charming and pretty woman, but always very helpful in planning day trips. With much patience they gave us the highlights of Rome and put forward very specific tips on primitive and really tasty restaurants. So if one wants to explore Rome and off the beaten track, this means highly recommended. We can therefore wholeheartedly recommend this property and thus give 10 out of 10 points with asterisks ;-) Addendum: My son had forgotten his charger for his Iphone 5 in this room and was immediately sent from our landlady to our address
