Our gorgeous home is ideally situated on a quiet street with beach, famous coastal walk, park, BBQs, playground, ocean pools, shops and buses only minutes away.

The apartment has lofty 10-foot ceilings with beautiful hard wood polished floor boards in the lounge room, study and kitchen. There is super soft New Zealand pure wool carpet in the bedroom so that your feet will feel on holiday too.

The lounge room and office are North facing so our apartment is filled with light throughout the day which is just lovely. In the afternoon the breeze from the ocean flows from the lounge room and study through the apartment and out through the kitchen.

There is a cosy bay window seat (big enough to nap on) in the lounge room with loads of comfortable cushions for your relaxation. There is a dining table in the lounge room or if you prefer you can eat in the kitchen under windows with leafy green views. There is a 1950s sofa that has been recently refurbished and converts into a large single bed.

We have high speed wireless internet for your use. The office has a 24 inch iMac computer with a printer and scanner. There is 32 inch flat screen TV (free to air) in the lounge room with a Mac Mini media server (DVD/DVR/AirTunes) and speakers. There are AirTunes speakers in the lounge, office and kitchen so you can have music playing throughout the apartment and control it from your Mac, PC, iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.

Our functional kitchen is ideal for cooking up a storm. It has a gas cooktop, fan-forced electric oven and range hood exhaust. We have top quality Esteele, Le Creuset and Chasseur cookware for you to use and a full range of cooking utensils. There is also an wide range of cookbooks you are welcome to browse through. We invite you to use any food that takes your fancy from our fridge and pantry. The kitchen also has a built-in front-loading washing machine and a fly-screen security door for those warmer days and evenings.

The bathroom is small but well appointed with bathtub and shower over bath. There is an unlimited gas hot water system with an internal thermostat so you can adjust your shower temperature to one that is perfect for you.

Our good sized bedroom has built in robes and a queen sized bed with cotton sheets and feather-filled doona/duvet/comforter. There is plenty of room for a cot or another single mattress (both provided at no charge on request). There is a quiet Hunter ceiling fan with remote control so you don't have to get out of bed to change the breeze or dim the lights.

The rear stairs which are accessed through the back door in the kitchen lead to a large communal rooftop terrace with ocean views including Wedding Cake Island and Coogee Beach. There is a washing line for quick drying of your clothes in the seabreeze and two sets of tables and chairs where you can sip your morning tea or coffee or eat your meals.

The apartment is in a circa 1920s character block of seven with security and intercom. There are no shared walls with the neighbours.

Across the road is a French Café (open every day except Tuesdays), convenience store (open 7 days until 10pm), a manicure/pedicure specialist and a laundromat. On the other side of the block (1 minute walk) you will find another fantastic café (open every day except Mondays), hairdresser, beautician, Thai restaurant (open 7 days) and a bus stop with buses going to the City, Bondi, Randwick, Drummoyne and the University of NSW.

It is a 5-7 minute walk to all the action on Coogee Bay Road, which offers a wide variety of cafés and restaurants for your culinary pleasure. There are all the shops you could need including a supermarket, green grocer, bottle shop, pharmacies, surf shops and Thai massage. The famous Coogee Bay Hotel with its beer garden is right on the waterfront just 5 minutes walk away.

We are one block (3-5 minute walk) from the beach, parks, a large children's playground, the stunning and famous coastal walk (you can walk north to Bondi or south to Maroubra), ocean pools including Wylies Baths, the Women's and Children's Baths and Coogee Life Saving public pool. There are BBQ facilities all within the same walking distance and plenty of picnic tables to sit at. This really is an amazing location.

Also available for your use are a pedestal fan, ironing board, iron, hairdryer, vacuum cleaner, clothes horse, kettle, toaster, fridge, espresso maker, etc.

Our apartment has been made child and baby friendly and you are welcome to use a range of baby gear (cot, toys, highchair, car seat, baby hiking pack, books, etc) upon request.

We have lived in the Eastern Suburbs for over 35 years so we are more than happy to advise you if you need any help choosing restaurants, beaches, day trips, cinemas, shopping, etc.

No smoking. No pets. No late/loud parties. No loud music. Copies of guests' ID (drivers licence/passport) will be taken upon arrival. Apartment to be left clean and tidy in the state in which it was found. Pay for any breakages. There is a 'manual' in the apartment to show you how to use the internet, TV, washing machine, etc. Please follow these instructions. Close and lock the doors and windows on leaving. Please close the windows when it rains.
