This quiet tree-lined cul-de-sac street offers a serene environment for a writer or a movie/music industry executive who wants a peaceful setting to come home to.

The property has been home to many celebrities such as Chuck Woolery, John Marx (music agent-William Morris Agency) Keith Samples (Rysher Entertainment) Laurie Metcalf, (producer/actress- co-star of the Roseanne Show and several movies) and many directors and advertising executives from New York, Detroit and abroad. Even the Princess of Ghana makes this her home when visiting the Los Angeles area. Scenes from the Lifetime Movie, "William & Kate" were shot here. The air date is one week before the Royal Wedding. The secluded nature of the inn lends itself to the entertainment world.

It's an enchanting oasis. Entertain friends around the fire pit or have your business meetings at the gazebo bar. Or just enjoy a hot Jacuzzi at the end of a hard day. Your own private patio and BBQ area for romantic dinners. Celebrity Chef Kurt Ehrlich (chef to Ronald Reagan) is available to prepare dinner for a private poolside romantic evening. There is a secret room behind a bookcase that leads to a finished attic with cable TV, DVD and has 3 twin size beds. Kids, teens and adventurous adults love it! If this room is used an addition living room area is open to you, creating another 1000 feet of living space. If this space is needed for additional people there is an extra charge. The property has a tree house and a play house that is a mini version of the main house. Owner lives on the property and is available to assist you with any needs you may have to make your stay a pleasant experience. Your privacy is a priority.

This is the perfect property for the business traveler, or a romantic vacation rental. Short term rentals. If you travel with your work and stay in hotels while in Los Angeles, this can't be more perfect. Home away from home for less the cost of hotel living. A comfortable and inviting atmosphere with wireless internet and cable TV (with premiere stations) are included. The pool is not heated in the winter time. Can be heated for an additional cost. Maid service and laundry area are available. All that is needed is a tooth brush and a bathing suit.

1. Smoking is allowed on outside patio only. If this rule is broken a fee of $200.00 will be charged to rid the smell of smoke inside the unit.

2. People other than those in the Guest Party set forth above may not stay overnight in the property. Any other person in the property is the sole responsibility of Guest. A separate charge will apply for any person other than the specified guest who stays overnight. The owner must consent to unexpected overnight guest.

3. The property is privately owned; the owner is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowner is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.

4. Keep the property and all furnishings in good order.

5. PETS are permitted only with prior approval and the Pet Addendum must be completed.

7. Parking: Street parking directly in front of the house.

8. Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. For longer stays cleaning people can be provided at your expense. While linens, bath & beach towels are included in the unit; daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the unit.

9. Jacuzzi: [No children under the age of 8 permitted in Jacuzzi at any time without adult supervision]. No glass or wine or beer bottles near the Jacuzzi or pool at anytime. Please use plastic. If glass is broken in the Jacuzzi or pool you are responsible for the expense of draining the Jacuzzi or pool to be sure all glass is removed to insure there is no injury to guest. This can be very expensive. The Jacuzzi should only run while it is being used. Extensive use is not permitted. You may not leave it running for hours. The cut off time for Jacuzzi and deck lights is 11:00pm

10. Inside Fireplaces: Only use Dura-Flame logs in fireplace and be sure the flu is open. Please do not throw any paper or other combustible materials in the fireplace.

11. Outside Gas Fireplace: Operated by remote control. Keep control away from children. If control is lost the replacement cost to you is $285.00. No roasting marsh-mellows in this fireplace. Keep children away from flame. Only operate this fireplace while you are sitting in front of it. Do not leave on while swimming or doing other activities.

12. Fire pit: No children can be near the fire pit without adult supervision. Please use ashtrays for cigarette butts. A two-hour limit per night is allowed. Over two hours of use, $5.00 per hour will be charged. Fire pit should be turned off when no one is sitting around it. The flame should be in the medium range. Bring marshmallows.

13. Wireless Speaker: Bring your iPod to hook up to the wireless speaker. Battery operated candles are provided for your enjoyment. Replace AA batteries upon vacating.

14. Conserve Energy: Turn off all lights, TV, fans, heat or air when leaving for the day.

15. Parties: Parties are not allowed when the property is rented for a vacation stay. The property also serves as a venue for events. If you wish to have a party, a separate rate will apply depending on the amount of people.

16. Secret Room: The secret room is behind a bookcase, which leads to a finished attic. People using this room must be old enough or young enough to climb a ladder. It also opens another large living room creating approximately an additional 1000 square ft. to the rental.

Security Deposit:
17. In lieu of a cash deposit, the Homeowner uses a Damage Waiver Protection Policy. In addition, You hereby grant consent to the Homeowner to charge your credit card in any amount of actual damages to the Property arising from your use of the Property, as well as for missing items, excessive clean-up, and, if necessary, the cost incurred in removing you from the Property above the amount covered by Damage Protection Policy. The property must be left in the exact condition that it was in when the Licensee arrived. If BBQ is used please clean grill after use. Dirty dishes must be washed and put away and garbage must be removed to outside bins when premises are vacated.

The Play House & Tree House:
18. Children are allowed in the playhouse with adult supervision. Toys need to be put away when play is finished and TV and lights turned off. No sleeping over night in playhouse. Children need to be old enough to play in the tree house without adult supervision. Small children are the responsibility of the Licensee. The Property is generally older, and not necessarily ‘child safe.’ Children should not roam free unattended; climb on furniture; hang out of windows; or engage in other unsupervised activities. Use is at your own risk. Licensee takes full responsibility for all lost or broken items, and any damages to the Property of any kind.
19. WIFI and Cable TV with premiere channels are included in the rental. An extensive DVD Library is available with many children’s movies as well.

Limitations on Rental:
The property and or Owner will not be liable for circumstances beyond their control, including but not limited to appliances or air-conditioning/heating failure, other mechanical failure, unfavorable weather, disruption of utility services including cable television, etc. There will be no relocation, rental pro-ration or refund in the event of such circumstances. In the event the Owner is unable to deliver the Property to Licensee because of property sale, property owner decision, fire, mandatory evacuation, eminent domain or Acts of Nature, or if the property is unavailable because of construction delays or lack of utilities, Licensee agrees that the Owner's sole liability, as a result of any of these conditions, will be a full refund of all payments tendered by Licensee. Licensee and the Owner agree that in case of double booking or occupancy by Owner, Licensee will be ONLY entitled to a full refund of all monies previously tendered by Licensee. If the Owner is able to relocate Licensee, Licensee agrees to pay the difference in rental amount, should Licensee accept alternate accommodations. Licensee expressly acknowledges that in no event will the Owner be held liable for any other condition out of the control of the Owner, or for any incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to, expenses that result from moving or for any other losses.

The Licensee acknowledges that this is NOT a tenancy for the Property. The Property is not rented for more than 30 days, and is taxed and treated as a transient occupancy, akin to hotel accommodations. Property laws do not apply to the license granted herein, and the Licensee may be removed as a trespasser immediately upon termination of this license. The Property is rented on regular short-term periods, and for a significantly higher rate than a non-vacation rental. Often a licensee is scheduled to begin a vacation in the Property on the same day as the check-out day of another prior licensee. If Licensee stays even one additional day, the Owner would face significant logistical problems with the next licensee, including possible liability. As such, Licensee agrees to vacate immediately on the check-out day, at designated time. Failure to do so will entitle the Owner, in addition to all other remedies available to it, to: have Licensee ejected by law enforcement as trespasser; and to physically remove Licensee and all of Licensee’s possessions from the Property, for which Licensee hereby grants permission and consent; and obtain damages and injunctive relief against Licensee.

Licensee agrees to release and indemnify the Owner, and the Property from and against all liability should anyone be injured upon the premises during the term of occupancy, resulting from any cause whatsoever, except in the case of personal injury caused by willful gross negligence on the part of the Owner or Licensee.
