Reviews of this property
In April we had a most wonderful week in Rome. The apartment in a good neighborhood, a five story house, was calm, spacious and clean. The heating system worked well, the kitchen was very well equipped, even with spices, spaghetti and tomato sauce, coffee, milk. A bottle of wine stood welcomed us. A three minutes walk to the tram station and a supermarket at the corner makes it conveniently located accommodation for a visit of Rome.
Best of all was our host, Luigi. He picked us up at the train station, even at 9 p.m., helped us with a computer and reservation for museums, and was most friendly. We would come back any time and highly recommend the apartment.

We fully can confirm the two reviews of “Nice Suite Rome” of Bartholomew and Femke from March 2014. They describe the most important qualities of the host and the apartment.
By Wimdu Luigi already did contact us and described the trip from Fiumicino Airport to Trastevere Station and he offered to pick us up there. Because of an air traffic controllers strike we were 1 day late. In spite of this misfortune Luigi still made it possible to pick us up, which was very helpful with 2 heavy suitcases.
The welcome was very warm like being old friends. Instead of driving us directly to the property he drove us straight up to Gianicolo (Piazzale Guiseppe Garibaldi), where he gave us a brief introduction to Rome / Vatican. On the way he pointed out important details such as shops, Tram and bus stops etc.. At home a short introduction to the suite followed. As a culinary welcome there stood a fine bottle of red wine on the kitchen-table.
Particularly noteworthy is the very good bed, the quiet location, the built-in wardrobes with generous space , a detailed information pack on Rome/Vatican and the WLAN. Two supermarkets, a great vegetable shop with cheap fresh fruit, pizzeria, bar, gelateria, pharmacy, tram and bus stop in less than 0,5 km away.
The tram # 8 takes you in 15 minutes to Piazza Venezia, or, if you do like to walk and don’t hate inclines and stairs, the way through the picturesque Trastevere in 45 minutes to the center of Rome.
From Quattro Venti Station (M) by metro 1 or 2 stations in the Vatican City.
In between, after we did not see us a cople of days, Luigi asked if everything was OK for us.
It is characteristic for Luigi, that he again brought us to Trastevere Station by his car, although that would not have been great trouble for us.
Conclusion: Luigi is a host by passion. If we should make our way to Rome again, we know exactly where we‘ll find a perfect accommodation for us.
Our rating: Excellent - 9 out of 10 Points.
We very much enjoyed our stay at Nice Suite in Rome. The apartment has a cozy living room and a small kitchen and dining table. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and the kitchen had some basic ingredients in case we wanted to prepare some food. There is a small supermarket and take-away pizzeria opposite the street. The owner Luigi was a great host, he picked us up at the Trastevere railway station and gave us valuable advice on how to find our way in Rome with public transport. Travelling to the center of Rome (Piazza Venetia) takes about 15 minutes by tram, passing the lively Trastevere quarter. We can surely recommend this accommodation!
Thank you Luigi for service.
Advance several contacts for familiarization and detailed information how to get there from the airport and we were picked up at the bus stop.
Spacious apartment in a good neighborhood, with good bed and everything is there.
Even a map of Rome, tourist information, bus, bike rental etc.
From the apartment it is good to walk to the center of Rome and the neighborhoods around it.
Grocer and restaurant across the road like the subway, which we did not use.
All in all fine days in your apartment, and thanks for the hospitality.
