Therefore the apartment is in a great location to enjoy both ends of London.

Our apartment is located in the east-end of the city also known as The Docklands. It forms part of the boroughs of Southwark, Tower Hamlets, Newham and Greenwich. The docks were formerly part of the Port of London, at one time the world's largest port. They have now been redeveloped principally for commercial and residential use. And the area is fast becoming the most exclusive area of London.

There are many interesting places within the local area and they include the Excel Conference and Exhibition centre, Canary Wharf, which is home to the largest banks and financial institutions in the world and the 2012 London Olympics, is taking place within this locality. We also have the newly opened Westfield Shopping Mall, which is Europe’s largest urban shopping mall with international brands, restaurants, cinema, fresh food courts and vast leisure facilities.

Apartamento bien situado, cerca de zona de hoteles y a unos 15 minutos en metro de tower hill. Espacioso y bien equipado. El anfitrion nos atendio correctamente y explico el funcionamiento de los diferentes utensilios etc. Hay que tener en cuenta que se trata de una planta baja pero la zona es segura y tiene a unos 100 m un supermercado que abre los 7 dias de la semana.

Appartamento molto carino vicinissimo alla fermata Customhouse della DLR e alla zona fieristica Excel.
Il 5 letto non è un divano letto ma bensì un materasso da stendere sul pavimento. Dalle foto delle camere si vede un intero set di salviette mentre a noi ci è stato consegnato solo 1 telo doccia ciascuno. Inoltre bisognerebbe togliere dall`annuncio la Oyster card gratuita per gli ospiti in quanto non disponibile. Con un poco più di manutenzione e pulizia questo appartamento potrebbe essere perfetto

Très bel appartement avec tout le confort nécessaire. Très proche de la ligne DLR (Docklands Light Railway) et à 2 stations de Jubilee Line, soit à 30 mn de Trafalgal Square.
Quartier calme et reposant.

Wir hatten wunderschöne Tage in London. Die Wohnung war für uns optimal, mit 3 Kindern hatten wir genug Platz. Die Wohnung war wie beschrieben in einem sauberen und guten Zustand. Verkehrsanbindung in die City war bestens und einfach mit der Bahn. Parkmöglichkeit für das Auto war vor der Wohnung reichlich vorhanden. Ede, der Vermieter, war sehr freundlich und jederzeit erreichbar. Gerne kommen wir wieder.

Die Wohnung ist groß genug für 4 Personen und verkehrsgünstig gelegen. Die Ausstattung ist okay, es könnte etwas mehr Geschirr sein. Insgesamt macht die Wohnung leider einen etwas abgenutzten Eindruck, manches Defekte müsste ersetzt oder repariert werden (Lampenschirm fehlt, Abfluss verstopft, Teppich fleckig, Schimmelflecken im Bad...). Für die Miete muss es einfach etwas gepflegter sein. Schade.

Sehr schöne Wohnung. Sie entspricht der Beschreibung. Der Aufenthalt war auch für fünf Leute ok. Es gibt zwei Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbetten incl. Bettwäsche und die fünfte Person schläft im WZ auf einer Matratze (Bettbezug mit eingezogener Decke). Das Badezimmer ist ok, allerdings etwas muffig, da innenliegend (ohne Fenster), fünf Duschhandtücher sind vorhanden. Küche ist super, gut ausgestattet. Der Teppichboden im WZ und Flur könnte mal ausgetauscht werden. Gute Verbindung zur City, kleiner Supermarkt ist in der Nähe.

Het appartement was heel goed. Het was schoon en ruimte genoeg voor 5 personen. Ook Ade was een erg vriendelijke man. Door een wijziging in de tijd van vertrek met de boot van Ierland naar Engeland kwamen we later aan in Londen. Helaas hadden we een verkeerd tel.nr. op de reservering staan en konden we de verhuurder (Ade) niet bereiken. We hebben toen contact gezocht met het Engelse team van Wimdu en zij hebben ons netjes te woord gestaan. Ook Ade had meerder malen geprobeerd ons te bereiken. Alles kwam uiteindelijk weer goed. Ligging van het appartement is trouwens ook perfect(nette buurt en vlakbij treinstation). Ook een supermarkt aan het eind van de straat was ideaal. Kan het appartement echt aanraden.

Very friendly owner, who is flexible and easy to contact.
Apartment is clean and comfortable. The furniture is simple but adequate.
The kitchen is complete, except that there is no dishwasher.
Nearby a local supermarket.
Quiet area and parking possibility in front of the apartment.
The area itself is not very interesting, but Custum House DLR railway station is at 10 minutes’ walk.
The bathroom is a bit dark and you can see that it has been used at lot.
A very good place to stay for a few days!

Ein insgesamt enttäuschender Aufenthalt, weil viel zu viele Unstimmigkeiten auftraten, die den Preis nicht rechtfertigen:
- keine Möglichkeit, eine frühere Anreise als 15.00 Uhr zu vereinbaren,
- zum vereinbarten Zeitpunkt der Übernahme (15.00 Uhr) kam der Vermieter nicht, er kam erst 90 Minuten später,
- der Versuch, den Vermieter tel. zu erreichen, scheiterte, weil die angegebene Tel.-Nr. schon seit 2 Jahren nicht mehr gültig ist (lt. Vermieter)
-der Versuch, in unserer Wartezeit die Wimdu-Hotline zu erreichen, wurde nach 10 Minuten in der Warteschleife abgebrochen,
- die daraufhin an Wimdu gesendete Mail, was zu tun ist, blieb bis heute unbeantwortet,
- die Wohnung war sehr wenig sorgfältig vorbereitet: besonders Bad sehr muffig und Schimmel an der Badewanne; Besteck teilweise unsauber; Chaos in den Schubladen,
- kein Toilettenpapier und keine Küchenhandtücher,
- mindestens 2 Handtücher fehlten.

Die Lage und Größe der Wohnung sowie Ausstattung der Küche waren gut
