The apartment is also a 10-minute walk from Victor Hugo Place, where one can find the capital’s finest restaurants, as well as local amenities such as supermarket, bakery, bank, etc. The closest metro stop is Porte Dauphine – line 2, directly facing the apartment building.
This lovely 5th floor studio – with elevator access - has recently undergone renovation works, and has been refurbished in a modern style.

Wir waren zu zweit für 8 Tage in der Wohnung und waren sehr zufrieden. Nur beim Checkin gab es ein kleines Missverständnis. Man sollte die Telefonnummer des Vermieters (einschließlich Ländervorwahl von Frankreich: +33) und ein funktionierendes Handy zur Hand haben wenn man ankommt. Sonst war alles sehr gut. Die Wohnung liegt sehr günstig, nah am Stadtzentrum und in der Nähe einer Metrostation. Trotzdem ist es ein sehr ruhiges Wohnviertel. Sie war sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und komplett ausgestattet. Nur ein Esstisch hat uns gefehlt. Es gab lediglich einen niedrigen Couchtisch. Es gab eine Waschmaschine, die auch trocknen kann, ein Festnetztelefon mit Europa-Flatrate und ein flottes WLAN, das sich auch einfach abschalten lässt - man muss also nicht im Elektrosmog schlafen. Der Fernseher, der über eine Kommunikationsbox angeschlossen ist, war gewöhnungsbedürftig in der Bedienung. Ganz durchgestiegen sind wir nicht, haben ihn aber immer irgendwie zu Laufen gebracht. Ein kurz gefasste Bedienungsanleitung für die IT-Geräte wäre ganz hilfreich. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend. Der Mietpreis ist recht hoch, entspricht aber dem Niveau von vergleichbaren Wohnungen so weit ich sehe. Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können die Wohnung sehr empfehlen.

My wife, our two young boys, and I stayed at the Grand luxe proche des Champs Elysées. Our host, Oz, is very kind and easy to communicate with. Although the room is small, the vaulted ceiling gives it a spacious feel. Both the pull down and the sofa bed are very comfortable. The main bed is better than most hotels I have ever been to. The location is quiet and we never felt unsafe. There are two small convenience stores close, across the Avenue Foch. There is a large Monoprix back behind the building in walking distance a few minutes away. The room comes with all the needed necessities but you do need basic hygiene items. The washing machine was great to have. Don't do large loads because they take too long to dry and you just get wrinkles. Oz had clothes soap already. Internet works! Oven is easy to figure out. Room has a vacuum.

The subway stop for line 2, Porte Dauphine (last stop) is right out the building. Great line to jump everywhere in Paris. The RER C is just across the Ave Foch if you want to get to Versailles or Paris Disney (you will need to transfer at Porte de Mars if I remember correctly). We transferred mostly at Etoile (Arc de Triomphe) to line 1.

We tried the Air France bus from CDG airport. It drops off at the Arch de Triomphe. The walk from there was longer than expected. Our family of four was about 50 Euros for the bus. A taxi is the same. We used a Taxi to get back to CDG Airport. It ran at 52 Euros. I would use a taxi again both ways if I had more than two people, especially with children.

Overall great stay, great room, clean. One tip, use a free chat app if you have a smart phone for easy texting with the host. Ask Oz which she uses.
