Kihei is the driest, sunniest of all of Maui, and it has the best underwater world with many dive/snorkeling sites including Molokini - a short trip from Kihei Boat Ramp. It is also very walk-able, and when you choose to drive you can find car parking easily (unlike other places on the island...).
We try to visit the island twice a year for 2-4 weeks each time, boogie boarding in Kamaole Beach III, snorkeling between Kamaole Beach I and II, and sometimes walking further south to Keawakapu Beach or driving to Big Beach. We try to eat all our meals on the lanai, watch the sunset every single day, and stroll up and down S Kihei Rd after a game of tennis or other activity...

House rulesPETS – Pets or other animals are not permitted in the condo or anywhere on Kihei Akahi under any conditions.
NON-SMOKING POLICY – State Law prohibits smoking in all areas open to the public, including, but not limited to restrooms, lobbies, reception areas, hallways, bars, condo rooms & lanais, restaurants, retail service establishments and retail stores. All accommodations provided by Owner are NON-SMOKING. Guest will be assessed a smoke/odor elimination fee of $475 for smoking, permitting smoking, or otherwise causing the odor of smoking in the Kihei Akahi buildings.
PENALTY FOR VIOLATING MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY PROVISION – Violation of the maximum occupancy provision of up to 2 adults can result in serious health risks directly related to overuse of the sewer. Therefore, in the event the Guest allows the premises to be occupied by more than 2 adults, Guest shall be responsible to pay Owner the sum of one hundred dollars ($100.00) per day, per person in excess of the stated maximum occupancy.
