his amazing flat is in a quiet street leading to the Avenue Daumesnil which is a pleasant leafy district with plenty of green spaces. The 12th arrondissement is the most historical suburb of paris where many historical events have taken place; the taking of the famous Bastille, the development of the furniture-making craftsmen on Faubourg Saint Antoine who were given liberty to create by Louis X1, streets named after famous battles like Sidi Brahim, the recent restoration and coversion of a street of 19th centuary wine warehouses to 'The Bercy Village' full of boutiques and restaurants - not to mention the not so historical active nightlife!
to visit nearby the flat=The Viaduct of Arts that houses cabinetmakers, musical-instrument makers, fashion designers, textile restorers and other busineses devoted to the world of arts in the vaults beneath the Promenade Plantee, is renowned wordwide and is classed in the historical patrimoine
You can also visit by feet The COUR SAINT EMILION, which is the access point by metro for the Bercy Village, named after the wine, as this is where the famous Sainte Emilion arrived by train in Paris. Now you can enjoy drinking it in one of the many restaurants renowned to specialise in good food

When we arrived at 6 p.m., three adults, one kid and luggage, nobody was there to open the door. Nadia was very upset when we phoned her. After one and a half hour finally someone came to open the door. The house was not cleaned at all and was still as the last visitors left it. The lady cleaned very roughly in a rush and made the beds. After our first night and very disappointing experiences we discovered the poorness of this appartment. An out-lived appartment with uneven floors, doors of the bathrooms which could not be closed, no comfortable chairs, a poor kitchen, with too many things for own use of the owner but above all very bad beds! One of the beds, just on floor level was okay for a young person , but the two sofa-beds were of a very poor quality, creaking ominously, and one of these sofa-beds even broke during our stay. An excellent area, the Marais, but the appartment should not be excepted by Wimdu!
The location of the apartement in Le Marais was excellent and we enjoyed it very much. However, the apartment itself was a disappointment. Based on the photos as well as the reviews, we expected a spacious, clean and well equipped apartment but it turned out to be very different. It was indeed spacious but at the same time a student like, out-lived apartment with uneven floors, poorly maintained rooms, a tasteless living room and a poor kitchen. My daughter of 19 would not mind but we expected more for the 155 euros per night. We will not come back to that apartment
Sehr entgegenkommend! Immer wieder gerne :)
The apartment is in a beautiful, well-maintained block on a quiet street, just off the Seine. It is very well-equipped, with excellent facilities for cooking and a lovely balcony, from which you can see the dome of the Pantheon and the spire of Notre Dame. The flat is warm, light, spacious and full of interesting decorative items gathered, presumably, from travels to Africa and Asia. The decor is sunny and colourful. It really felt as though we'd been invited into someone's home, which made the stay more interesting. The location of the apartment is perfect for exploring St-Germain, walking the Seine and picnicking in the Jardin du Luxembourg. We had a wonderful stay and would love to return. Thank you.
