When you visit Reykjavik, make sure you spend a few hours walking around the Old City. It can all be done on foot and it is a wonderful way to stumble across interesting places. One thing you must do when in Reykjavik is visit one of their geothermal pools. There are plenty around the city and there is even a geothermal beach! They are an important part of Icelandic culture and a visit to one of the pools is also a great way to meet and mix with some locals.
